The International Business Hall

It is a strategic space within the Bogotá International Book Fair, organized by Corferias and the Colombian Book Chamber, designed to facilitate the purchase, sale, and negotiation of books and rights. Targeted at carefully selected publishing professionals, the event will be held on Monday, April 27, and Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Hilton Corferias Hotel.

It offers a digital system for scheduling 30-minute business appointments with other entrepreneurs and international fellows. In 2025, they generated 1,275 meetings and more than USD 5 million in business expectations.

Who is the International Business Hall for?

Table sales are aimed at various international industry players interested in doing business with other entrepreneurs, exhibitors, and national and international visitors at FILBo 2026, especially:

  • Commercial managers
  • Publishing directors
  • Publishers
  • Distributors
  • Booksellers
  • Literary agents
  • Scouts
  • Translators

Corferias and the Colombian Book Chamber will review applicants’ profiles to balance supply and demand. Finally, companies interested in acquiring a table at the International Business Hall must complete the following form. Completing the form does not oblige Corferias or the Colombian Book Chamber to assign a table to interested parties.

For each table purchased, visitors to the International Business Hall will be able to schedule appointments every 30 minutes, via an online platform, with entrepreneurs, exhibitors, Fellowship Program fellows, and other national and international agents who will be visiting us during FILBo 2026.

How can FILBo 2026 exhibitors participate?

FILBo exhibitors and members of the Colombian Book Chamber can participate in the International Business Hall to schedule appointments with companies that have purchased a table, provided they meet the following conditions:

National and international exhibitors and members of the Colombian Book Chamber whose profile is approved.
Only those dedicated to editorial products with ISBN or ISSN (books, audiobooks, ebooks, etc.).
Must have export capacity or own publishing rights.

Must have a catalogue of more than 10 titles and have been legally established for at least three years.
For collective exhibitors: a maximum of three companies per stand.
The selection of these companies will be carried out by the Colombian Book Chamber and Corferias, and the results will be announced in advance to allow time to upload their information to the meeting scheduling platform.

What are the costs of the International Business Hall?

The rates for each table within the International Business Hall may include only the table or also the hotel. If additional nights are required to stay longer at FILBo, participants may request preferential rates offered by FILBo at the Hilton Corferias Hotel. This additional cost must be paid directly to the hotel, not through FILBo or the Colombian Book Chamber.

Important dates for the call

Expression of interest: September 15 to December 5, 2025.
Confirmation of selected candidates: October 1, 2025, to January 30, 2026 (depending on expression of interest).
Payment gateway available: February 2 to March 20, 2026.
Appointment scheduling: March 24 to April 20, 2026.
International Business Hall: April 27 and 28, 2026.
International Book Fair: April 21 to May 4, 2026.

How does the International Business Hall work?

One. Expression of interest: September 15 to December 5, 2025.
Companies interested in acquiring a table at the Hall must complete the following form so that the balance between supply and demand can be evaluated.

Two. Confirmation of selected participants: October 1, 2025, to January 30, 2026 (according to expressions of interest).
Corferias and the Colombian Book Chamber will review the interested parties’ profiles to ensure balance between supply and demand among the International Business Hall participants.

Three. Payment gateway available: February 2 to March 20, 2026.
Once the interested companies’ profiles have been approved, the Chamber will send a link to make the payment.

Four. Profile creation: March 24 to April 1, 2026.
Once payment has been made, Corferias will contact the entrepreneurs to create their company profile on the platform, where they will detail their economic activity and the purpose of their visit (purchase, sale, or purchase and sale).

Five. Appointment scheduling: March 24 to April 20, 2026.
Once you have your complete information on the platform, you can begin scheduling appointments between registered profiles in advance of the International Business Hall.

Six. International Business Hall: April 27 and 28, 2026.
Appointments will take place every 30 minutes, which have been previously scheduled through the platform, and will be held in the Bosque Hall of the Hilton Hotel.

What are the benefits of participating in the International Business Hall?

In 2025, 1,275 business appointments were held, in which 27 international buyers from 12 countries (Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, the United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela) and 5 Fellowship Program fellows (from the United Kingdom, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Italy, and Germany) met with 144 national and international exhibitors at FILBo. In addition, business expectations were estimated at USD 5,144,336.

By attending the International Business Hall, you will receive 2 badges:

A badge for entry to the fairgrounds during all days of FILBo (April 21 to May 4, 2026).
A Professional Book badge with access to the International Business Hall at the Hilton Hotel (April 27 and 28, 2026).
Access to information about exhibitors and other visitors to FILBo.
Additionally, upon arrival at the Hall, you will be assigned a permanent table, where you will have your previously scheduled appointments or those you wish to schedule during the two days of business.

If your plan includes hotel reservation, it will also cover airport–hotel transfers and internet access.
