In 2026, the Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBo) will be held from April 21 to May 4, with India as the guest of honor.
The Fellowship Program is part of the FILBo Professional Conference, in its Business section. Within this framework, the Colombian Book Chamber and Corferias invite international fellows to visit the International Business Hall, to establish long-term commercial relationships with their Colombian peers and promote Colombian and Latin American publishing abroad.
Benefits of the Fellowship Program
The program covers the cost of economy class airfare and hotel accommodation for three nights, including: one day before the event dedicated to a special agenda with industry agents, organized by FILBo, and two days of participation in the International Business Hall (April 27 and 28, 2026, Hilton Corferias Hotel). During the fair, they must also attend additional activities deemed relevant by the organization, such as preparatory talks or other networking events.
It is important that beneficiaries have availability in their schedules to participate in virtual meetings before FILBo to share their profiles and interests.
Who is it for?
International publishing professionals interested in doing business with other entrepreneurs, exhibitors, and national and international visitors at FILBo 2026: commercial managers, editorial directors, publishers, and literary scouts.
Fellows must be entrepreneurs with experience and specialized knowledge of the Spanish-language rights market, have a line of work in Colombian or Latin American literature (fiction, nonfiction, children·s and young adult literature, etc.) in their catalogue, and be fluent in Spanish (preferably).

- Accepted profiles posted on the website: November 2025.
- Virtual meetings with fellows: January to March 2026.
