Fellows 2026

 

 

The Fellowship Program seeks to foster sustainable business relationships between publishers, agents, scouts, distributors, and librarians worldwide and their counterparts in Colombia, thereby strengthening the global circulation of our publications. Selected fellows participate in the FILBo International Business Hall and a specialized program designed to facilitate professional exchange, rights acquisition, and the building of long-term networks.
The next call for applications will open on October 1, 2027.

Camilla Dubini

London

Publisher: London Literary Scouting

Camilla Dubini works as a literary scout at London Literary Scouting, where she heads the agency·s International Publishing department, collaborating closely with twenty-five publishers across Europe, from Brazil to Japan. Camilla is responsible for reading and Servicios al usuario Reporting on English, Spanish, and Italian books for her clients, identifying and contextualizing relevant, high-quality titles, developing editorial strategies, championing projects, and negotiating deals.

Prashant Pathak

Italy

Publisher: Giunti Editore S.P.A.

Prashant Pathak is the Director of English Publishing Development at Giunti Editore. He leads strategic publishing initiatives that connect the Italian publishing industry with global English-speaking markets, focusing on co-publishing, rights development, and international partnerships. With a presence spanning Italy, the United States, and India, Prashant plays a key role in expanding Giunti·s global visibility and forging new collaborations within the English-language publishing ecosystem.

Pavlína Juracková

Czech Republic

Publisher: Paseka Publishing House

Editor and head of international rights at Paseka, a Czech publishing house founded in 1989. She studied Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Studies, as well as Comparative Literature, at Charles University in Prague. Since 2022, she has promoted Paseka·s titles internationally and has participated in major book fairs and festivals worldwide, including Guadalajara, Shanghai, Brooklyn, Madrid, London, Bologna, Frankfurt, and Leipzig, as well as renowned comic book festivals such as Angoulême and Erlangen.

Roland Heinrich Spahr

Germany

Publisher:Libra Kitab

International Rights Manager at Libra Kitab, a publishing house specializing in children·s literature. With a background in International Relations, she promotes the cultural and educational value of books for young people, expanding the global reach of the publisher·s catalog and developing projects to encourage reading in her country.

Luiza Lewkowicz

Brazil

Publisher: DBA Literature (DBA Editora)

Luiza Lewkowicz is the editorial manager of DBA Literatura, the literary imprint of DBA Editora, based in São Paulo, Brazil. She is responsible for acquiring international rights, editing, and promoting Brazilian and translated fiction and non-fiction works. DBA publishes between 10 and 12 titles a year and will celebrate its fifth anniversary in 2025, with a catalog that combines contemporary voices in world literature with a strong presence of Latin American authors. Luiza also actively participates in international book fairs and programs, promoting cultural and publishing exchange between Brazil and other countries.

Mari Laan

Estonia

Publisher: Toledo kirjastus (Toledo Publishing House)

Mari Laan is the editor and founder of Toledo Publishing House (Estonia). As a translator, she has translated works from Spanish into Estonian by Pío Baroja, Felisberto Hernández, Javier Cercas, Aurora Venturini, and Valeria Luiselli, among others. She is a member of the Translators Section of the Estonian Writers· Union and in 2024 received her PhD in Cultural Studies from Tallinn University (Estonia), specializing in the history of literary translation from Spanish into Estonian.
